The programme changed its name and its tier system — Bronze closes to new applicants from 30 September 2026 — so check what each remaining tier actually covers before comparing it to other long-stay options.
The figure above is the one-time membership fee published by the programme operator for whichever tier you choose under Thailand Privilege — the programme most people still call by its old name, Thailand Elite. It does not include the smaller application deposit paid at submission, VAT treatment, any family add-on if you are bringing a spouse, child, or parent, or anything a visa agent or law firm charges you separately for handling the paperwork.
Check the source and date above
That fee is published directly by the programme operator, Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. — not by a resale agent's site. Check the date shown in the box above before relying on the figure: two changes are now in effect that an older quote can easily miss.
From 30 September 2026, Bronze, the lowest tier, is closed to new applications. Existing Bronze members keep their membership for its full term; from that date, anyone applying is choosing between Gold — the entry tier from then on — Platinum, Diamond, or invitation-only Reserve. Separately, the family add-on fee for bringing a spouse, child, or parent onto a Platinum or Diamond card moved off its promotional rate on 1 April 2026, onto its standard, higher rate. A quote dated after that which still prices Bronze, or one that prices a family add-on at the old promotional rate, is quoting a version of the programme that no longer exists.
The application deposit is separate from the membership fee and is later deducted from it rather than charged on top. There are no annual renewal fees once the one-time membership is paid — one of the programme's selling points against routes that charge yearly.
This is worth sitting with before paying: the programme is priced as a one-time cost precisely because it is competing with routes that charge smaller amounts every year, so the comparison only makes sense measured over a specific number of years, not as a single number against a single number. Once family add-ons and an agent's service fee are factored into the one-time total, the comparison against a cheaper annual route can look very different than the headline figures alone suggest.
What to ask before you pay
- Which tier is this quote for, and does the price match that tier's currently published one-time fee — not Bronze, which is closed to new applicants from 30 September 2026, and not an outdated or legacy package name?
- Is the application deposit already included in this total, or will it be requested separately and later deducted?
- Under what conditions is the deposit refundable, and what happens to it if the background check does not clear?
- Is any part of this total the firm's own service fee rather than money going to the programme operator, and can that be shown as a separate line?
- If a family member is being added, is that add-on priced at the current standard rate, or an expired promotional rate that no longer applies?
- Does this tier still have an open enrollment window, or could it close the way Bronze did?
- What is the firm's own refund policy if the application does not proceed, separate from the programme operator's own deposit rules?
